Please be advised that the ball marker, as submitted, has been evaluated and it has been determined that it conforms to the Rules of Golf. However, please note that if the player does not remove the ball marker prior to making a stroke, the player would be in breach of Rule 8-2 of the Rules of Golf. Additionally, if the player adjusts the marker after the ball has been lifted, the player would likely incur a one-stroke penalty under Rule 20-1 because the postion of the ball would not have been continuously marked or a two-stroke penalty (Rule 16-1b via Rule 20-7) if he replaces the ball in a different location and makes a stroke from a wrong place.
